Checked out the new 24/7 Apple store in Midtown Manhattan yesterday. The store is really nice and besides being in the best shopping location in the world ,the biggest attraction is the 24/7 feature.I had to wait 15 mins to get into the store(!!??). For pics look on the apple website or on Flickr
Apple’s marketing strategy is at its best with an extra $200 for black paint on the MacBook. It does look fancy though.
Checked out a couple of products, especially the MacBook and the MacBook PRO but they had none which had bootcamp and Windows installed on it.
I got an IPOD Hi-fi as a gift last week (no prized for guessing who gifted that to me..;-)).It rocks !
A sports fan’s day out in the sun. Three amazing games yesterday!!
First, the yankees beat Texas in the biggest comeback win in franchise history. Posada hits a walk off homer at the bottom of the ninth.
Meanwhile in the NBA playoffs, Miami best New Jersey to go into the conference finals in a very close game. Big Shaq looks like he is gonna win it for Miami this time.
And to cap it all off, Phoenix beat LA in a magical game that extended to second OT to take a 3-2 lead in the series. A whole group of us watched the game at a bar downtown and it was amazing fun. (downside, game finished at 2, we ended up going home by 3:30. As a result wednesday started late.)
If only today’s Champions League final could match that …
P.S nba.com, mlb.com and soccernet.com have raised the bar so high in providing interactive live game commentary and visuals on the internet, cricinfo with its filthy text commentary looks way below par.

Well, this is one of my first compositions using a concurrent audio programming API that i am using/writing. Its a carnatic piece, will post details on how i went about the actual procedure later. Ive been working 6 months on this piece of software that i am writing, so it will take more than a couple of posts to explain what i am actually trying to do.
